As of August 28, 2026, mainland China’s official holiday calendar lists Mid-Autumn Festival on September 25–27 and National Day on October 1–7. These dates are planning reference points, not confirmed ihwares factory closure dates. Individual supplier and logistics schedules need separate confirmation.

For candle brands, wholesalers and importers, four practical checks can help turn a target delivery date into a workable purchasing plan.

1. Start with your required arrival date

Tell your supplier when the empty jars must reach your warehouse or filling partner—not just when you want them shipped. Work backwards through transport, inspection, packing and production. Ask for written confirmation of the proposed milestones and identify who needs to approve each stage.

2. Approve the complete packaging specification

A jar design is only part of the order. Confirm the lid, finish, logo placement, carton configuration and quantities by design. Review physical samples before approving bulk production, and allow time for any necessary revisions. Do not assume that approving a digital mockup also approves the finished surface or lid fit.

Keep the approved sample and specification together as the reference for production and inspection. This makes last-minute questions easier to resolve without changing the agreed design.

3. Check each stage of the supplier schedule

Ask about production, decoration, packing and dispatch separately. One department’s working schedule does not automatically confirm another’s availability. If your order depends on additional components, ask whether those suppliers have also confirmed their schedules.

For repeat orders, check whether the previous specification still applies before requesting a new production slot.

4. Coordinate with your freight partner

Confirm cargo readiness, collection arrangements, booking deadlines and required shipping documents. A factory completion date is not the same as a vessel departure date. Keep room for changes in the plan, and request current freight options for your actual route rather than assuming holiday pricing.
