However, the sample production stage often takes longer than originally planned.
Here are the reasons 
✅ 1) Custom samples are handmade and not mass-produced.
Even for ceramic or glass products, the production process usually involves the following steps:
✔ Design confirmation
✔ Handmade molding
✔ Glazing/Coloring
✔ Firing
✔ Logo processing and testing
Each step requires time - especially the kiln time (heating + cooling), and this single step alone may take 24 to 48 hours per round.

✅ 2) Color and surface treatment tests require multiple rounds of testing
Glazes, matte, glossy, pearlescent, stone - each material behaves differently during the firing process.
Sometimes, a sample needs 2 to 4 rounds of testing to achieve the desired color and surface effect.

✅ 3) Logo design methods require testing
Sandblasting, engraving, applique, stamping -
Due to different surfaces and colors having different effects, samples must be tested to ensure:
✔ Lines are clear
✔ Position is accurate
✔ Color does not fade

❗ 4) Customers constantly change design plans - this is the main reason for the delay
This is very common.
Many customers do not provide complete requirements at once. Examples:
 First confirm the shape of the jar
 Then change the color
 Then add the logo
 Then adjust the position of the logo
 Then request a cover
 Then adjust the color of the cover
 Then request different surface treatment methods
 Then want packaging...
Each small change means:
✅ Redrawing
✅ Re-making molds/appliques
✅ Re-firing
✅ Re-testing
  Each round will add additional time - each modification usually adds 1 to 2 weeks.
This is why the originally planned 3 to 4 weeks for testing samples, if the relevant details keep changing, may extend to 8 to 12 weeks.
